Community Hall Rental

The Dayspring Fire Hall is available to members of the Community.

The fire department’s 2,000 square foot community hall can accommodate a variety of functions, including weddings, meetings, parties, music shows and more. The hardwood floor is perfect for dances.

The hall is fully heated and air conditioned, ensuring year-round comfort.

Occupancy capacities are as follows:

  • 150 persons for functions requiring liquor licences
  • 195 with non-fixed tables and chairs
  • 248 with theatre-style, non-fixed chairs

The picture above shows a wedding that was hosted at the Dayspring Fire Hall. 

The hall offers an accessible entrance and washroom, ample parking and a bar. The well-equipped kitchen has a 12-burner propane stove and oven, walk-in cooler, four sinks and a commercial dishwasher. The freshly painted hall is bright and clean, and would be an ideal venue for any special occasion. If catering is needed we can direct you to local caterers.

The hall is fully heated and air conditioned, ensuring year-round comfort.

Rental Information
  • All bookings are pending until all booking documents are signed, payment is received and the rental is approved.
  • We don’t have an online calendar at this time so all bookings please contact us at:

    booking@dayspringfire.ca

  • All bookings must be signed and paid for within X days of the booking being made
  • A damage deposit for the hall rental will be due upon signing this contract (cash or bank draft will be accepted only). Upon satisfactory final inspection, including returning the key, the deposit will be returned. See the Hall Rental Agreement for more details.
  • There are certain conditions that the Hall Rental is free to use. Churches and Cemetery groups within our district, Active Members of the fire department for personal use and qualified post funeral gatherings, local 50th and 100th birthdays typically are given free use of the hall. Contact us for more details.
  • The renter is responsible for applying for and producing the liquor licence if needed at least one week prior to the event.
